Market Live: Nifty likely to open flat.

The Nifty50 is expected to open flat on Friday tracking Asian markets which were trading mixed as conflicting messages on the Sino-U.S. trade war only added to worries for the global economy, U.S. President Donald Trump said on Thursday he believed China wanted to make a trade deal and that the dispute would be fairly short, said a Reuters report.Beijing on Thursday vowed to counter the latest tariffs on $300 billion of Chinese goods but called on the United States to meet it halfway on a potential trade deal, it said. Overnight, the S&P 500 and the Dow gained ground in a late rally. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 99.97 points, the S&P 500 gained 7 points, and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 7.32 points to 7,766.62.

Global Market:
Asian Markets: Asian markets are higher today as Japanese and Hong Kong shares show gains. The Nikkei 225 is up 0.09% while the Hang Seng is up 0.64%. The Shanghai Composite is not trading.
US Markets: North and South American markets finished mixed as of the most recent closing prices. The S&P 500 gained 0.25%, while the Bovespa led the IPC lower. They fell 1.20% and 0.20% respectively.
European Markets: European markets finished broadly lower today with shares in London leading the region. The FTSE 100 is down 1.13% while Germany’s DAX is off 0.70% and France’s CAC 40 is lower by 0.27%.
