Market Live: Nifty likely to open flat. 
The Nifty50 is likely to open on a flat-to-positive note on Thursday following mixed trend seen in other Asian markets. The index closed 53 points higher at 10,855 on Wednesday.
Asian shares began cautiously on Thursday, struggling to rise after a multi-day rally as markets await more news on US-China trade talks that have raised hopes of a deal to avert an all-out trade war, it said.

Global Market:
Asian Markets : Asian markets are lower today as Chinese and Hong Kong shares fall. The Shanghai Composite is off 0.02% while the Hang Seng is down 0.29%. The Nikkei 225 is not trading.
US Markets : The S&P 500 notched its first four-day win streak since September. The Dow and Nasdaq also closed higher.
European markets : European markets finished higher today with shares in France leading the region. The CAC 40 is up 0.84% while Germany’s DAX is up 0.83% and London’s FTSE 100 is up 0.66%.

  • TCS to declare Q3 earnings on January 10; brokerages say watch out for global demand outlook.Edelweiss estimates that TCS will deliver QoQ revenue growth of 2.2 percent in constant currency terms and 1.6 percent in US dollar terms.
